Dara & Ed’s Road to Mandalay – Dara O’Briain and Ed Byrne venture out on another road trip together – this time to Mandalay (having already travelled down the Pan-American Highway by car on Dara and Ed’s Great Big Adventure). We see what they get up to on their travels from Kuala Lumpur to Mandalay 3,500 miles away. I’m not normally one for travel programmes, but the balance between the light-hearted banter and the seriousness of a travel programme really showed through. I think it’s still available on i-Player.
Warmer weather – there have been a few warmer days during May. I’m not a lover of really high temperatures but being out when there is a warm breeze and the sun is out makes me very happy.
Listening to podcasts – I’ve written a post all about my favourite podcasts. You can read it here.
Dara O’Briain’s Go 8 Bit – Dara hosts the show which is all about gaming. Two celebrities, together with “experts” Steve McNeil and Sam Pamphilon, compete against each other to find out who will be the champion. Ellie Gibson is the Gaming Expert. There are several rounds in which they play computer games for points, which are decided by the viewers who have voted on who they think will win. Sounds complicated, but’s not. It’s currently on series 2 on Dave.
Sally Hansen Colour Therapy Nail Polish – Well the instructions anyway – please ignore the instructions not to put a base coat on! My nails took a beating as I tried to remove it (and they still haven’t fully recovered a few weeks later). The colour stained my nails and as it was a bright turquoise colour it was noticeable. I have since used it with a base coat and it seems to work much better.
Warmer weather – Whilst it’s nice to have the sun out, I’m not a lover of really high temperatures. It makes me grumpy!
What have you been loving this month? Let me know in the comments.
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend if you are in the UK.
